“ Wow! What a great place for brunch. I got the fish and chips: since it was only 8.99, I asked the waiter if it was enough food and she said yes - boy was she right! 2 pretty decent sized fish filet and a bunch of fries. Honestly wasn't expecting as much food as there was. Enough for lunch and leftovers! Partner got the big breakfast which was also a large amount of food for 11.99. Food was good. Service was great. No complaints. Definitely will come back again. (Updated) Now this Daybreak has been a regular for my partner and I. We literally go see Shirley almost every time we can for brunch, and now I think she's definitely remembered us. Shirley is just a ray of sunshine! Partner gets the egg benedict and I usually get the 3 egg breakfast with sausages - barely can finish. Usually really quick seating, although it can get quite busy on weekends (especially if you come in a big group) and might have to wait a bit. Honestly though, my partner and I know that the eggs benedict isn't the BEST tasting ones out there, but if you consider the price and how much you get and the service, this place is amazing. Looking forward to seeing Shirley soon! 3 ”

The food was just perfect. I loved the omellete and the home fries. The prices are very good for the portion and service as well. ”
“ Great breakfast spot at a fair price. Friendly and fast service. There was only 2 people working (one kitchen and one front of house) but they worked really fast. The restaurant was more than half full and everyone got served pretty quick. I was really impressed. The speed of the service did not even lower the quality of the servicr or food. I was very satisfied with my overall experience dining here. Server was proactive with refilling my coffee cup with I loved because at some other place you need to wave them down. Definitely coming back here the next time I'm in Newmarket. ”
“ I ordered soft poached eggs and they were done just right. Many places overcook their soft poached eggs, not at Daybreak. I did not see maple syrup on the menu. The toast came dry with 2 packets of butter, 1 packet of peanut butter and 1 packet of jam. The pancakes came with table syrup. I don't eat table syrup so I used the butter and jam on them. Our Hostess ensured our coffee was topped up. Excellent service. We will return. ”
